I mentioned before that my favorite O. Henry story is "The Gift of the Magi." It ranks among my top favorite stories of all time, and I have great memories of the first time I read it. The story is available free online - and it's short enough to read online - and I wanted to share it with anyone who hasn't read it and with anyone who wants to visit it again.
